I think they would if they understood about the complications it can cause if you have an allergy to it. It can trigger off a whole host of other food allergies because it basically messes with your intestinal wall and allows other poisons into your system.
I don’t see why you wouldn’t make it gluten free. Those that don’t know what gluten is won’t care, and those that eat healthy and do care, will be pleased too, so you get both people wanting to buy your product then.
What do you think? Answer below!
Nope. But, if it’s good with or without it the public will be sure to enjoy it. You never know if you don’t try.
I dont know about the percentage, but if u have a good GF product I think u should try it out! 1 in 133 ppl have Celiac disease and with the rising number of autistic childrne, the gluten free diet is becoming more and more popular. Just look at how many GF prodcuts are available now vs. just 5 years ago!!
Try contactng local Celiac support group (www.csaceliacs.org to find one) and trying out your product on them. If they like it, then you’ll have a good baseline for how other GF ppl would. If its kid friendly, try autism support groups and see if the kids will eat it. Making it casein free also will widen your base of clients bc autistic children will then eat it as well as ppl with lactose intolerance.
Give it a try! What is it, I m ight try it??!
